"It will be fine," they said, as they checked it at the gate. "We'll hand carry it and bring it back to you." Hah! In Honolulu we watched it tumble two feet down onto the baggage claim conveyor - not even in a case. Truly a miracle that it survived. 'Course a year of salty air in Laie did it in at last - but we used it for eight years before it gave up the ghost. When Amy brought Chris' guitar from Utah to London, they stuffed it full of Splenda packets. I had asked them to bring some, but not a ten year supply (despite the amount of tea we were drinking there). Anyway, funny baggage stories.
